Sanvikaa, the actress who portrays Rinky in the popular web series Panchayat, has seen her career flourish in recent years. Panchayat’s third season recently premiered, and Sanvikaa’s performance continues to garner positive reviews. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Sanvikaa shed light on her unexpected path to acting.

A career change
Surprisingly, acting wasn’t always Sanvikaa’s dream. She initially aimed for a career in the fashion industry, specifically styling or fashion design. However, her plans took an unexpected turn. “It was a very hit-and-trial method,” Sanvikaa revealed in the interview. “Somehow, things in fashion designing didn’t work out, so I started giving auditions.”
Finding her passion
While unsure of acting initially, Sanvikaa continued auditioning. “At that time, I wasn’t very sure,” she admitted. “But I was doing auditions just to see if this industry suited me or if I enjoyed it.” As she landed more projects, Sanvikaa discovered a newfound passion. “Eventually, after a few projects, I decided this is something I enjoy, and I will give my whole life to this thing,” she stated.
Sanvikaa’s journey from Panchayat to Lakhan Leela Bhargav
Sanvikaa’s breakthrough role as Rinky in Panchayat undoubtedly boosted her career. However, for her role in the courtroom drama web series Lakhan Leela Bhargav, starring Ravie Dubey, the path to casting was quite different. “It was a very last-minute thing,” Sanvikaa explained. “They called me for a look test, and I thought they would take my audition as well.”
Impressed by her look, the director informed her that shooting would commence the following day, leaving Sanvikaa with little time to prepare. “They looked at me in a certain way and signed me immediately,” she concluded.
Sanvikaa’s projects
As mentioned above, she is currently seen in Panchayat season 3. Besides the Amazon Prime Video show, she also has a web series titled, Hajamat. However, the release date of the same is yet to be announced.
