Gina Rinehart has poured another $3.2 billion on top of her already ginormous bank balance to cement her place as Australia’s wealthiest person.
It is the fifth time in a row that the WA mining and agricultural magnate has topped the Australian Financial Review’s Rich List — but the first time she has cracked the $40b mark, with the newspaper estimating her personal wealth now stands at a tidy $40.61b, up from $37.41 last year.
