Emily Ratajkowski has long used her fashion choices to spread political messages and she made no exception this week when the model stepped out on the streets of New York City in a t-shirt celebrating Donald Trump‘s conviction on Thursday afternoon.
Mere hours after Trump was convicted in a Manhattan courthouse on all 34 charges of his hush money case connected to his payout to Stormy Daniels, Ratajkowski was photographed wearing a graphic tee bearing a graphic of the porn star actress atop her name in all-cap letters: STORMY DANIELS.
The “Stormy Tee,” which comes in both black and pink (the latter of which is currently sold out) is a limited-edition collaboration between Platform Art and the legendary artist and cartoonist R. Crumb, featuring his 2019 drawing, ‘Stormy Daniels,’ printed on the front and the artist’s signature on the back. Ten percent of sales of the shirt will go to Safe Horizon, a New York organization supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The former president was convicted in a Manhattan courthouse on Thursday of all 34 charges of falsifying business records in connection with a payout to Daniels on the eve of the 2016 election.
Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, is now the first former president ever convicted of a crime. He could face up to four years in prison at sentencing on July 11, though probation is also a possible sentence. The verdict will be appealed.
The Stormy tee is far form the only merch to be churned out following the historic conviction. Mere moments after the news, Hillary Clinton took to Instagram to promote a mug she designed, seemingly in response to Trump’s trial, that reads “Turns out she was right about everything.”
