Vicky Kaushal has returned to Mumbai after a long vacation in London with Katrina Kaif. And the actor is sporting a whole new look. Kaushal, who had been rocking long hair and a beard for his upcoming film Chhava, has shed the rugged look in favour of a sharp, short haircut.

The transformation took place at the Andheri salon of celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim. Kaushal’s decision to switch things up comes after months of dedication to his character in Chhava. The film required a more intense look, and Kaushal grew out his hair and beard to embody the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. However, with filming wrapped, he was clearly ready for a change. Stepping out of the salon on a Sunday evening, Kaushal was met by paparazzi eager to capture his new look.
Aalim Hakim himself took to Instagram to share his experience of working with Kaushal. Hakim expressed his appreciation for Kaushal’s willingness to experiment with different hairstyles, highlighting the actor’s versatility. Hakim described the new cut as “a sharp, short with a lot of texture haircut.”
The highly anticipated film also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Beyond Chhava, Kaushal also has Bad Newz on the horizon, where he’ll be sharing the screen with Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri.
