Rajkummar Rao is having a terrific 2024. The actor has delivered not one but two hits back-to-back in the form of Srikanth and Mr & Mrs Mahi, which also received critical acclaim. Interestingly, both films released in a span of just three weeks and that didn’t affect its box office performance.

Srikanth told the inspiring real-life story of the visually impaired business tycoon Srikanth Bolla, the founder of Bollant Industries. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film is produced by T-Series.
Highlighting how the year has been for Rajkummar, the head honcho of T-Series said that he is a rare actor who also thinks about his films’ business. “2024 is definitely Rajkummar Rao’s year, and his success says a lot about him as an artist. His success isn’t just about acing a character—it’s also about understanding the business side of filmmaking. He is one of the rare actors who is very aware of the economics involved in making a movie, which is why he’s producers’ favourite pick too. His ability to satisfy his artistic vision along with attracting footfalls in theatres is why he keeps winning at the box office,” he said.
Bhushan Kumar added, “For him, only script matters. Rest of the things take the back seat. His sincerity and love for his craft reflects in every role he takes on. He’s truly the most bankable actors we have with immense credibility as a performer.”
Srikanth also starred Jyotika, Sharad Kelkar and Alaya F.
