A man has been charged over the alleged kidnapping, drugging and sexual assault of a woman earlier this year, with police to allege in court he threatened to release images of her ordeal unless she paid him $300,000.
Police were called to Epping about 6.45pm on Saturday April 20 to reports a woman had been kidnapped. Witnesses told officers the woman had allegedly been forced into a Toyota Camry by a group of men, who then drove away with her inside.
