Sydney comes out of its midseason bye as the AFL’s clear flag favourite, and now faces a top-four test against rivals Geelong.
The Swans (10-1, 150.1%) are three wins clear of the chasing pack, only having lost to Richmond back in Round 3, and are surging towards their first minor premiership since 2016.
The Cats (8-4, 112.9%) finally snapped a four-game losing skid last time out against the Tigers but have not looked anything like the side that sat 7-0 and top of the ladder a few weeks ago.
