Roosters hooker Brandon Smith has reportedly been issued a breach notice after failing to attend his team’s mid-season review.
Trent Robinson held a number of meetings to review the Roosters’ season so far on Monday following the club’s loss to the Cowboys in Round 13.
According to the SMH, Smith didn’t turn up to the review sessions and has since been handed a breach notice by Tricolours powerbrokers.

His future at the club is now reportedly in doubt, and it remains unclear whether he will be named for the Roosters’ Round 15 clash with the Eels after their Round 14 bye.
According to a source, Smith was reportedly not aware of the scheduled review sessions, with club officials reportedly attempting to contact him.
However, Smith claimed he didn’t have his phone available, saying “it was a mistake on my end”.
“I was out with family and didn’t realise it was on. I take responsibility for that,” he said.

Roosters powerbrokers are now reportedly frustrated with Smith’s actions, with his future at the club coming into question.
Meanwhile, pressure is reportedly mounting on Robinson to keep Smith in line, having taken up an option in his favour for the 2025 season worth around $850,000.
Smith’s start to life at the Roosters began slow, with a finger injury hampering him in 2023 before he ended that season strongly.
