FOND DU LAC – The city public works department announced North Park Avenue will close at Ledgeview Avenue starting June 11.
The road will remain closed for at least two weeks as the utility contractor installs sanitary and storm sewer and city crews work on pavement restoration.
For drivers heading north, the detour will be to drive east on East Division Street, north on National Avenue and west on East Johnson Street. Southbound drivers will need to drive east on East Johnson Street, south on National Avenue and west on East Division Street.

Work on Ledgeview Avenue between Amory Street and North Park Avenue began in May and will continue through August, including improvements to the roadway, street lighting, landscaping and sidewalk and approaches, in addition to utility installations.
According to the June 6 city construction update, other current road closures include Pioneer Road, Rees Street, Marquette Street and Doty Street to through traffic. Division Street is still closed to all vehicle and foot traffic from from Brooke to Tallmadge streets.
