Deepika Padukone’s fans, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, are abuzz with excitement over the latest poster reveal for her upcoming sci-fi film, Kalki 2898 AD. For the unversed, on Sunday, Deepika unveiled the poster featuring her character on her Instagram account, captioning it: “The hope begins with her.”

Ranveer was quick to react, commenting with a simple yet powerful message: “BOOM (fire emoji) stunner!” Today, Ranveer Singh further amplified the buzz by sharing the poster on his Instagram stories. This time, his caption left no room for interpretation: “Queen of the big screen!”
Speaking of the film, the highly awaited trailer is scheduled to release today, June 10. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film boasts a star-studded cast alongside Deepika Padukone. Joining her are legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas, along with Disha Patani. Kalki 2898 AD is touted as a visually stunning sci-fi extravaganza with a unique blend of mythology and futuristic elements. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is slated for a theatrical release on June 27, 2024.
On the other hand, speaking about Ranveer’s professional front, he was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, co-starring Alia Bhatt. He was recently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Besides this, he also confirmed that his film Rakshas, with Mythri Movie Makers, has been shelved.
