Indira Krishna is reportedly portraying Kaushalya, Lord Rama’s mother, in the film. Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana boasts a star-studded cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Raavan, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. As reported exclusively by Pinkvilla last month, Ramayana will be a two-part film, not a trilogy. A source revealed, “Given the scale and magnitude of the film, the makers have opted for a two-part approach… Ramayana will be shot simultaneously.”
This development comes as Ranbir Kapoor awaits the release of Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With anticipation building for Ramayana, fans are eager to witness this epic mythological tale come to life on the big screen.
