BJP leader Mohan Charan Majhi will be the new Odisha Chief Minister, while Pravati Parida and KV Singhdeo will be Deputy Chief Ministers.
The 52-year-old Majhi, a four-time MLA, is a prominent tribal face in the state. He will have two deputies – Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida.
Earlier today, the BJP legislature party held a meeting to select the chief minister of Odisha after it trounced the BJD in the assembly elections.
The oath-taking ceremony of Majhi and other leaders is likely to be held on June 12 at 5 pm, according to sources.
