Thieves driving an SUV stole 16 goats from a dairy farm in Tilsada village in Uttar Pradesh. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
Poonam Sahu, who runs a dairy farm in the village, said that the thieves came late Sunday night. Untied the goats before loading them into their vehicle and sped away. Sahu estimated the stolen goats to be worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
An FIR has been registered at the Ghatampur police station. The police are trying to trace the thieves using CCTV footage. The station in-charge confirmed the incident and assured that the thieves would be arrested soon.
In a similar bizarre robbery incident that happened in May, when three people tried to steal a Maruti van in Kanpur’s Dabauli area later learned that none of them knew how to drive a car.
The three then decided to push the vehicle, and they could do it for 10 kilometres. Tired after pushing the car, they abandoned the vehicle. The police later arrested them.
