Ayden Mayeri has joined the cast of an upcoming Peacock comedy series led by Steph Curry and Adam Pally.
Per the official logline, the currently untitled series follows Danny (Pally), “a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer who looks for redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry.”
Mayeri will play Samantha, Danny’s ex-wife.
Mayeri is best known for playing Beth Ann in the 2022 Showtime comedy series “I Love That For You.” She also starred in Season 1 of “The Afterparty” on Apple TV+ as Jennifer No. 2, with other TV credits including “Into the Dark” on Hulu, “Veep” on HBO, “New Girl” on Fox, “Grace and Frankie” on Netflix and “Homecoming” on Amazon.
In film, Mayeri has appeared opposite Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza in “Spin Me Round” (2022), Greg Mottola’s “Confess, Fletch” (2022), Dave Franco’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” (2023), Netflix’s “Alex Strangelove” (2018), Lionsgate’s “Wander Darkly” (2020) and Hannah Pearl Utt’s “Before You Know It” (2019). Up next, she will be seen in Megan Stalter’s “Cora Bora” and Paul Feig’s “Jackpot.”

The series hails from Curry’s Unanimous Media banner, which is under a massive talent deal at NBCUniversal. David Caspe, Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman write the series and serve as executive producers alongside Curry, Pally, Erick Peyton and David Wain, who will also direct all six episodes. Universal Television is the studio.
