As per reports, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to get married to her boyfriend, actor Zaheer Iqbal. Reportedly, the marriage will take place on June 23 at Bastian restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai. The media reached out to Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, and her brother, Luv Sinha and they neither confirmed nor denied about them getting hitched. This further indicated that the marriage is indeed happening.
Before their marriage, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal quietly shoot for a film titled Tu Hai Meri Kiran
It has now come to light that before their big day, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal also quietly shot for a film together. Titled Tu Hai Meri Kiran, it is produced by Sarvesh Goel. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sarvesh revealed that the couple have been shooting for the film for the last two months.
Sarvesh Goel further said that Tu Hai Meri Kiran’s final schedule is expected to wrap up by the end of June. This probably means that Sonakshi and Zaheer might shoot for the film after their marriage. However, there’s no clarity on this aspect.
Sarvesh Goel told Hindustan Times, “We wanted Sonakshi and Zaheer to finish the shoot soon, as the project is nearing completion, but we didn’t receive their dates. However, after the last day of the shoot on Sunday (June 9), we learned, from media reports, that they were getting married. So, now we understand that it was probably the wedding that caused the delay in dates.”
This won’t be the first time that the lovebirds will be seen together in a film. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were cast in the romcom, Double XL (2022), co-starring Huma Qureshi. They were also seen together in a music video, Blockbuster.
Sonakshi Sinha was recently seen in the much-talked-about Netflix show, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. As per sources, there will be a celebration in Sonakshi Sinha’s family home in Juhu on June 22. The reports further stated that while the marriage will be held on the morning of June 23, the reception will take place on the same day in the evening.
