The CMF Phone 1 will launch in India soon with a unique wheel dial at the bottom. While the launch date is still under wraps, we do know that this is a budget offering from the brand because it has always promoted its CMF series as an affordable option for users who want to try out Nothing products.
CMF Phone 1: Leaked specs, design
The CMF Phone 1 is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster also says that the display will have uniform and thick bezels. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which will also be used by Oppo Reno 12 Pro if leaks are to be believed. Under the hood, we could see a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. While these details are yet to be confirmed by the brand, we do know for sure that the company won’t bundle a charger with the smartphone.
The image, which has been leaked by Gadget Bits, shows that the CMF phone will have a plain back panel with no semi-transparent design or textured appearance. The back could house the CMF logo and a dual camera setup too, positioned vertically. At the bottom, there could be a small wheel, the existence of which is currently unknown. The device might come with a removable back panel, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Tipster Technerd_9 claimed to have obtained the key specs of the CMF Phone (1) on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that the device would come with a polycarbonate back panel. It will also have a vegan leather finish, something that the official teasers also suggested.
CMF Phone 1: Expected India price
The device’s box price has leaked online, which is set at Rs 19,999. This suggests that the CMF Phone 1 will likely be priced under Rs 20,000.
Now, let’s take a quick look at the portfolio of the brand. The original Nothing phones cost more than Rs 40,000 when they launch, though the price dropped to around Rs 30,000 after a few months of the release. It recently introduced a new series with Phone 2a, which is targeted at the Rs 25,000 segment. So, the price of the CMF phone could be under Rs 20,000. But, nothing is confirmed yet.
