Fans of Disha Patani were highly excited as the actress was seen sharing screen space alongside Bhairava aka Prabhas in the recently released trailer of Kalki 2898 AD. While fans were excited to know more about Patani’s character, they were a tad bit disappointed about her brief appearance in the trailer. But now, the makers have decided to give a treat to them by unveiling her first look as a part of her birthday celebrations on June 13.
First Look of Disha Patani as Roxie from Kalki 2898 AD gets unveiled on her birthday
On Thursday, the makers took to the official social media handle of Kalki 2898 AD to share the first look poster of Disha Patani, who will be playing the role of Roxie in the film. Going by her look and the glimpse in the trailer, it can be said that she will be seen in an action-packed avatar in this sci-fi entertainer. Her unique look comprises of skinny denims, crop top and heavy boots along with a bindi which rounds up her avatar in the film. “Wishing our Roxie, @dishapatani a very Happy Birthday”, they captioned the poster.

The much-awaited mythological sci-fi entertainer boasts of an ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. The film has been garnering ample attention for its unique post-apocalyptic world which it has created. Set against the backdrop of a dystopian world, this Nag Ashwin directorial takes us through the journey of Bhairava aka Prabhas, a bounty hunter who sets out to protect the pregnant Sumati aka Sum-80 played by Deepika Padukone as she is on the run from Supreme Yaskin essayed by Kamal Haasan to protect her and her child. The film also has Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of Ashwatthama who helps her in this endeavor. It is slated for release on June 27 in multiple languages including Hindi.
