Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh is known for his dedication to his craft, and it seems he’s pulling out all the stops for his upcoming project. Recently, writer Shobhaa De shared a delightful encounter with the actor at a popular restaurant in Alibaug. The pictures captured Ranveer enjoying a plate of fries, but it was the reason behind his increased appetite that caught everyone’s attention.

According to De’s post, Ranveer revealed his plans to gain a significant amount of weight, a whopping 15kgs, for his next film role. Interestingly, the weight gain also coincides with Singh’s upcoming fatherhood. He and his wife, Deepika Padukone, are expecting their first child, and De’s post jokingly mentions Singh’s desire to bulk up before welcoming the baby. On the work front, Ranveer Singh has a busy schedule ahead, including the highly anticipated Singham Again. This action-packed film boasts a stellar cast, featuring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor. Additionally, Singh is confirmed for Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Scheduled for a 2025 release, the film will also star Kiara Advani.
