A video has surfaced showing at least eight auto-rickshaws racing on the road in Chennai, putting lives of commuters in danger.
Visuals from city’s outer ring road show autorickshaws racing, while 20 motorbikes riding along to form a protective shield around the speeding autorickshaws. The incident reported occurred on Saturday.
The autorickshaws were seen trying to overtake each other while commuters were caught in the commotion.
As the video went viral, police have now initiated an investigation.
