Karishma Tanna took to her Instagram Stories to stand by Dalljiet. She reposted a news story about Dalljiet’s legal action against Nikhil, with the caption, “Whatever happened shouldn’t have happened!!!! My full support is with my dearest friend Dalljiet Kaur. This man has done wrong to her, and I will stand by her till the end. Strong women do not seek revenge, they move on and allow karma to do the work!!”

Dalljiet, touched by the support, re-shared Karishma’s post on her timeline, expressing her gratitude with the message, “One day as it comes KT . Thank You!” The post, however, was not visible later, leaving it unclear whether it was deleted or simply expired after 24 hours.

The troubles between Dalljiet and Nikhil escalated when Dalljiet accused Nikhil of having an extramarital affair. In response, Nikhil sent a legal notice asking her to collect her belongings from his house in Kenya. Dalljiet secured a stay order preventing Nikhil from evicting her and their child Jaydon or disposing of her belongings.
Earlier, Dalljiet publicly criticized Nikhil on social media, sharing a photo of him with a caption calling out his ‘shameless’ behaviour and the humiliation of their family. She wrote, “You are out on social media with her now everyday shamelessly. Your wife and son came back in 10 months of the wedding. The entire family is humiliated. Some dignity for the kids would have been good!”
Nikhil’s side of the story
In an interview with ETimes, Nikhil defended himself, explaining the circumstances that led to their separation. He revealed that in January, Dalljiet decided to leave Kenya and return to India with their son Jaydon, realizing that their blended family’s foundation was not strong enough. Nikhil mentioned their Indian wedding ceremony in March 2023, which was culturally significant but not legally binding, and was meant to reassure Dalljiet’s family about her move to Kenya.
