LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A second person has died after a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County this weekend.

Pennsylvania State Police in Bowmansville say around 4 a.m. they responded to the westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike near milepost 270.3 in Penn Township.

Nicholas Blouch, 43, of Lower Paxton, was pronounced dead at the scene near milepost 270.3 in Penn Township Saturday morning.

State Police say the driver, Sarah Harper, 34, of Harrisburg was taken to Hershey Hospital but also died from her injuries.

State Police say the single-vehicle crash occurred when, for an unknown reason, the Nisson 350Z veered across the left lane and struck a concrete barrier. The vehicle traveled back across the lanes uncontrolled, struck an embankment, and went airborne before rolling on the grass.
