Mexican singer-songwriter Ivan Cornejo has announced the biggest tour of his career in support of his upcoming new album, “Mirada,” due July 18.
The 26-date trek will see Cornejo hitting arenas for the first time in his career, in addition to festivals and theaters across North America.
“I’m so thrilled to start on this new tour, especially as I step into bigger venues and reach new audiences,” Cornejo told Variety ahead of the announcement. “It’s been a while since I’ve released new music, and I can’t wait to share these fresh sounds and heartfelt performances with everyone. This tour feels like a celebration of all the creativity and passion that’s been brewing over the past years.”
The “Mirada” tour will start on July 6 in Milwaukee for Summerfest and close on Oct. 19 in Tijuana for the Tecate Peninsula Festival. Cornejo will play the biggest venues of his career with stops including the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., and the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif., among others.
This tour follows Cornejo’s sold-out 2023 “Terapia” trek, which included a stop at Lollapalooza and in major cities across the U.S. He was most recently a headliner at Sueños Festival in Chicago, and sold out a concert at the Rodeo Houston in March.
