Karisma Kapoor recalls Dil To Pagal Hai being first film to have monitor on set; Zubeidaa was first sync sound movie in India
Recalling 90s set-up, Karisma Kapoor told Grazia India, “I’ve seen movies from the time when there were no scripts, we just knew we would be doing a movie – there’d be a hero, four to five dance numbers and one or two great scenes and we’d be like okay let’s work hard and get noticed.”
The actress also recalled that her film Zubeidaa (2001, directed by Shyam Benegal), was the first sync sound movie in India. She also said that Dil To Pagal Hai (1997, directed by Yash Chopra) was the first film that they had a monitor for.
Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor returned to the movies with Homi Adajania’s Murder Mubarak. She also has another project titled Brown. The actress is also set to become a judge on India’s Best Dancer 4.
