Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known for his stellar performances in Bollywood, recently discussed his unique relationship with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Despite not sharing a close friendship, Siddiqui expressed a deep appreciation for Kashyap’s role in his career. In an interview with the Indian Express, Siddiqui stated, “Anurag and I are not even friends, frankly speaking. If we sit together, we might not even talk to each other for hours. We are like that. We have flown together, travelled together for 5-6 hours without saying a word.”

Despite this minimal communication, he harbors no ill will towards Kashyap. On the contrary, Siddiqui holds Kashyap in high regard, wishing him health and continued success. He stated, “Kabhi koi aanch nahi aani chaahiye Anurag ko bass (Anurag should never have any problems).”
