Anil Kapoor is preparing for his debut as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3. The actor recently spoke on the escalating prices and enormous star fees in the Hindi film industry. In an interview with India Today, Anil Kapoor discussed his thoughts when negotiating the wage rate for his enterprises.
Anil Kapoor opens up about rising star fees in Bollywood; says, “I don’t want people to also take me for granted”
The Bigg Boss OTT presenter emphasized the discussion on salary scales and said, “I think we should be realistic. It’s very necessary now. I think the reason I have had such a long career is because I have always been very realistic about it.” He further said, “To be honest, most of the time, I always step into their (the producers) shoes (while quoting fees). Of course, I don’t want people to also take me for granted. I should get what I deserve. But yes, I have survived so long because I understand these things and have always been conscious about it.”

Bigg Boss OTT 3 marks Anil’s debut as a reality show host on streaming platform. Previously, Karan Johar and Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss OTT 1 and 2, respectively. Harshad Chopra, Shehzada Dhami, Chesta Bhagat, Nikhil Mehta, Vishal Pandey and Chandrika Dixit are the six most likely competitors for the next reality program. Elvish Yadav won Bigg Boss OTT 2 and received 25 lakh cash prize. The first episode of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 will be aired at 9 pm on JioCinema on June 21.

Anil Made his Bollywood debut in Hamare Tumhare in 1979. He later rose to prominence with films such as Woh Saat Din, Jaanbaz, Mr India, Tezaab, and Ram Lakhan. He last appeared in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter and Savi.
