The Dolphins copped an early blow in their clash with the Storm when try-scoring machine Jack Bostock was ruled out of the game in the third minute.

Bostock knocked the back of his head on the ground while attempting to tackle Will Warbrick and after laying motionless for quite some time, play finally stopped and he was attended to by Dolphins trainers.

Thankfully the 20-year-old got to his feet and walked himself off the field, but Fox League commentator Warren Smith summed up what many were thinking when he said: “It was a little bit scary when he hadn’t moved for a few seconds.”

Sideline reporter Matt Russell confirmed that Bostock, who has scored 11 tries in 13 appearances this season, would not return to the game given he was deemed to be displaying category one symptoms.
