Jai Mehta, Hansal Mehta’s son, expressed his disappointment on a social media platform (formerly known as Twitter) stating that the incident was particularly upsetting because it mirrored a personal experience with his brother Pallava, who has Down syndrome.

Hansal Mehta amplified his son’s post, revealing that Pallava, a huge fan of a particular unnamed celebrity, had never been granted a meeting despite repeated requests made through the star’s brother and close friends. Mehta expressed his desire to fulfill this wish for his son, especially after Pallava recognized the celebrity in a newspaper following an eye surgery. Unfortunately, their efforts were met with silence, leading Mehta to eventually give up on the request.

Jai Mehta further criticized the behavior of celebrity security personnel, stating the need for better crowd management and a more considerate approach. He stressed that celebrities, politicians, and sports figures should strive for a less self-centered attitude and prioritize interacting with their fans. He highlighted an instance where his brother was disregarded even by “so-called woke people,” raising concerns about inclusivity for people with special needs.
Nagarjuna Issues Apology
Following the online outrage, Nagarjuna issued an apology on the same social media platform, acknowledging the incident and expressing regret. He promised to take necessary precautions to ensure such situations don’t occur again.
