Liam Martin and Patrick Carrigan have been sin binned in the 50th minute of Origin II following a brief scuffle.
Referee Ashley Klein binned the Blues back rower for a head rub on Jaydn Su’a after the Maroons edge forward lost the ball bringing the ball out of his own end.
Queensland enforcer Patrick Carrigan followed soon after for running in and flaring the situation up.
The decision to send both men left the Channel Nine commentary team in disbelief, with Maroons great Cameron Smith imploring for both sides to “just play footy.”

Blues legend Andrew Johns found the decision comical.
“We’ve seen grapples, we’ve seen picking up and dumping. We’ve seen Latrell chin someone,” he said.
“But you rub someones head, you go to the bin for that.
“Come on.”
