Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman was a joint film project between Shah Rukh Khan and Nana Patekar. Moviegoers were won over by their on-screen persona, which still has an impact. The seasoned actor recently praised his co-star, stating that Shah Rukh Khan has never forgotten him and always greets him with a great deal of love.

According to Lallantop, Nana said, “Even today, he meets me with a lot of love. People forget, but he hasn’t forgotten. He seems like a child to me. For me, he’s still like a child. I really am fond of him.” He further acknowledged that while people tend to forget each other, “he didn’t forget”. SRK greeted Nana with “immense love” at the International Film Festival in Goa, where Nana had recently met him. It seemed as though no time had passed, and they had worked together just yesterday.
In the same interview the actor also talked about working with Amitabh Bachchan, the actor recounted his memories with Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Kohram, mentioning, that they didn’t meet very often but used to have extensive conversations. He shared that he had kept a letter that Amitabh had sent to him following The Attacks of 26/11, in which Amitabh had complimented him on several of his performances, especially that one. Nana thought back to their days spent together at work and recalled an early morning when Amitabh had come to celebrate the birth of his daughter with sweets.
After appearing in It’s My Life (2020) and Tadka (2022), in 2023, Patekar headlined Vivek Agnihotri directed The Vaccine War, which tells about the development of Covaxin during the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
