Critics Clown Marjorie Taylor Greene Over Wild Election ‘Self-Own’: ‘NO Self Awareness’ – MASHAHER

Critics are bashing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) over her apparent double standard after she called for a top U.S. aid official to see a drastic salary reduction on Wednesday.

“A person who abuses her position in government to meddle in democratic elections should be nowhere near public office,” declared the conspiracy theorist, one of 147 Republicans who voted to overturn the 2020 election and who has backed former President Donald Trump’s false “rigged” claims about it.

Greene introduced an amendment on the House floor to bring the salary of U.S. Agency for International Development administrator Samantha Power down to $1 over diversity, equity and inclusion (or DEI) directives.

The far-right Republican — in a move that adds to other GOP-led efforts to go after DEI programs and initiatives — also linked Power to “influential left-wing foundations” to weave a theory that the Biden administration, officials and other groups are keeping close to “execute extreme policy initiatives.”

“Instead of fulfilling her role as an administrator, Samantha Power is focused on imposing a left-wing agenda throughout the entire U.S. government and its proxies around the world,” Greene later claimed.

Social media users on X mocked Greene over her election remarks, declaring that her “hypocrisy knows no bounds.”
