MFL reduces Selangor’s fine to RM60,000 – MASHAHER



PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Football League (MFL) have eased up on their punishment towards Selangor for refusing to play the Charity Shield fixture against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on May 10.

The MFL board of directors have reduced Selangor’s fine from RM100,000 to RM60,000, while the compensation payments for losses incurred by JDT and MFL will still be maintained.

Selangor’s three-point deduction for the 2024-2025 Super League season has also been cancelled.

The ban on spectators to the Super League match against JDT at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium has also been lifted, allowing fans to attend the match.
