Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently revealed his experience with marijuana use during an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia. While acknowledging his experimentation, Nawaz spoke about his disapproval of the practice.

When questioned about marijuana use, Siddiqui offered a candid response. “I had company of some people, who would smoke up so even I ended up doing that,” he admitted. However, he quickly clarified his stance, stating, “I don’t want to promote it, I have made mistakes.”

Despite acknowledging the enjoyment he initially experienced, Siddiqui expressed regret. He stated, “the high you’d get in that was a lot of fun,” but firmly added, “I do not want to promote it at all, it was our mistake and I want to apologise for that.”

The interview also delved into Siddiqui’s past experiences with bhaang, a drink traditionally consumed during the Holi festival. He described feeling like “the biggest actor in the world” under its influence, leading to impromptu performances that lasted for hours.
While acknowledging these past experiences, Nawazuddin Siddiqui seems focused on the future. He was seen in a bunch of 2023 films such as Afwaah, Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Tiku Weds Sheru, and Haddi. Fans eagerly await his upcoming release, the mystery thriller Rautu Ka Raaz, which premieres on Zee5 on June 28th.
