TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A new nonstop flight connecting Tampa to another city in Florida began Friday.
Breeze Airways started taking travelers from Tampa to Pensacola. Fares for the new nonstop route start at $49 for one-way tickets.
Earlier this week, the airline announced that it will begin service from Tampa International Airport to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania starting Oct. 18. Fares for the new route start at $79 for one-way tickets if purchased by July 1 for travel by Jan. 7, 2025.
Breeze will also start nonstop service to the following routes in the coming months:

Last month, the airline started service from TPA to Orange County, California and Myrtle Beach and Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Breeze currently offers more than 170 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 56 cities in 29 states.
