A just-clinging-on St Kilda hosts an under-fire Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints (5-9, 92.2%) entered Round 16 in 14th position on the ladder, but a win against Port would have them just two games out of the top eight.

Meanwhile, the Power (8-6, 101.0%) have lost three consecutive matches as senior coach Ken Hinkley faces mounting scrutiny.

Both sides made three changes at selection on Thursday, with Hinkley handing a debut to 19-year-old midfielder Will Lorenz.

Veteran midfielder Travis Boak and fringe defender Lachie Jones were also recalled, while Esava Ratugolea (injured), Jase Burgoyne (injured) and Jed McEntee (omitted) were excluded.

For Ross Lyon’s Saints, Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, Jimmy Webster and Cooper Sharman return in place of Zaine Cordy (Omitted), Zak Jones (Omitted) and Tom Campbell (Omitted). Campbell would later earn a reprieve.

Port Adelaide enters having won five consecutive matches against St Kilda, and, since 2010, the Power are 3-0 against the Saints at Marvel Stadium.

Further, since 2020, Port is 10-1 (91%) at Marvel Stadium.

The game gets underway at 1:10pm EST from Marvel Stadium.

Watch it live on Fox Footy (channel 504), streaming on Kayo and via Hubbl from 12:45pm EST.

LIVE MATCH UPDATES

Final teams are in for today’s clash at Marvel Stadium. There’s a late change for the Saints, with Seb Ross (managed) going out of the side and Tom Campbell coming in. Sharman will be the sub. Debutant Will Lorenz is Port Adelaide’s sub.

Hunter Clark kicked the first goal of the afternoon from a set shot, but mercurial Port midfielder Zak Butters answered with a typically terrific finish.

The Butters goal sparked a run of four for the Power before the Saints fired back. A big Dan Butler tackle on Logan Evans resulted in a shot on goal that Mason Wood made no mistake with.

By the first change, it was Port leading by four points.
