The latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3 has sparked controversy as Poulomi Das expressed her frustration over Anil Kapoor’s handling of an issue involving sexist remarks made by fellow contestant Shivani Kumari.

Poulomi Das Calls Out Anil Kapoor
Poulomi Das, known for her outspoken nature, recently confronted Anil Kapoor during a candid discussion in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. The actor was reprimanded by Kapoor for questioning the suitability of Chandrika Dixit, also known as the ‘Vada Pav girl’, for the show based on her profession. However, Poulomi felt that Kapoor overlooked the more pressing issue of Shivani Kumari’s sexist comments directed at her.
Poulomi Speaks Up
In a conversation with Chandrika and Armaan Malik in the living area, Poulomi voiced her concerns. She stated, “He is giving his opinion but I am sorry, I do not agree with it. There has been talk about my comments regarding Chandrika outside of the show, but I don’t think it’s fair. I feel like no one is discussing what she (Shivani) said about me. Whenever I try to bring it up, the topic gets changed. Isn’t that unfair? Her comment about ‘women like you’ still hurts me because there are many women like me out there. I need to understand what she meant by that.”
The Issue at Hand
Poulomi further elaborated on her frustration, stating the need to address the hurtful remarks made by Shivani. “Yes, I do wear a bikini, but my Instagram has more than just bikini pictures. I also wear saris and there are photos of me in a lehenga with my family. It’s frustrating that no one is discussing the issue at hand but are more interested in what I said before the show. There are 16 contestants, and I didn’t know any of them,” she added.
Shivani Kumari had previously made derogatory comments about Poulomi’s outfit, referring to her as “women like you,” which led to a heated exchange between the two contestants.
