Actor Ranveer Singh has kept fans waiting since his last film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Though the Karan Johar directorial broke the spell, the rumors mill constantly reported that Ranveer’s upcoming projects were either shelved or delayed. Recently, another upcoming project of Ranveer has been confirmed to be put on hold, which is a S Shankar film, Hindi remake of Aparichit.

Shankar BREAKS SILENCE on Aparichit Remake
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, S. Shankar addressed the rumours. While confirming initial plans for the Aparichit remake with Ranveer Singh, he revealed the project is currently on hold. Shankar, currently busy promoting his upcoming films Game Changer and Indian 2 (both will be released in 2024), stated that the producers desire a “bigger” film than Aparichit. The director expressed a desire to revisit the project after the release of his current films
In his words, “We had planned to make Aparichit in Hindi, but after that announcement, a lot of films were coming. Our producers want me to do a film bigger than Aparichit, so it is on hold right now. After the release of these two films, we will decide how to take it forward.”
In the meantime, Ranveer Singh has a packed schedule. He will be seen alongside a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone, in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming Diwali release, Singham Again. He also has the third installemnt of Don in his kitty.
