Lubbock police are asking the public to help identify two suspects from a June robbery in central Lubbock.
According to LPD, officers were called to the 2600 block of Avenue Q at 7:10 a.m. on June 22 for a reported robbery. Through the police department’s initial investigation, it appears that a male suspect entered a store in that location and began verbally assaulting the clerk, followed by a female suspect who entered the store and began taking property before leaving.
It appears another individual inside the store tried to stop the female suspect from leaving, at which time the male suspect physically assaulted that individual. According to police, the victim suffered minor injuries and did not request medical assistance.
The male suspect is described as Black, about 5’8” tall and weighing about 160 pounds. The female suspect is described as Black, about 5’5” tall and weighing about 155 pounds. Both suspects have black hair and brown eyes.
Police urge anyone with any information about this case to call the Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. Those with information leading to the identification and arrest of these suspects could be eligible for a reward.
