The film, which marks Netflix and YRF Entertainment’s collaboration, features Junaid Khan, who made his debut with this historical drama. Now we hear that the film has made it to the global non-English top ten list in 22 countries.

We hear that the film quickly climbed to number two on Netflix’s top ten list in the non-English category. Reacting to the same, debutant Junaid Khan expressed gratitude and said, “I’m only thankful for the love, the appreciation, as well as the feedback that people have given me for my debut. Considering that the film is inspired by true events, based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case, it seems that it has resonated with audiences who have appreciated the drama for its compelling narrative and performances. Apart from Junaid Khan, the film stars Jaideep Ahlawat as the lead antagonist along with Shalini Pandey and Sharvari Wagh in key roles. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, it released on June 21 in Netflix and is currently streaming exclusively on the platform.
