At least three people are injured, including one person in critical condition, after a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Columbus’ Northeast Side.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Morse and Stelzer roads near Easton Town Center, according to Columbus police dispatchers. One person was taken by Columbus Division of Fire medics to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, Downtown, in critical condition.
Two youths were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, said Battalion Chief Jeffrey Geitter, spokesman for the Columbus Division of Fire. Columbus police dispatchers said those victims were in stable condition. At least one vehicle overturned in the crash, and Columbus fire had to perform a vehicle extrication, said Geitter.
Morse Road westbound to I-270 northbound has been shut down as police clean up the scene and investigate, according to Columbus 911 dispatchers.
