Being in the brink of parenthood, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. The couple, who announced their pregnancy in February, are excited about this new phase and adding to it, father-to-be Ali is also thrilled about the praises coming his way after the release of Mirzapur 3. As a way of celebrating these happy moments, the actor along with his wife, found a rather interesting way by sharing a quirky video of featuring him as Guddu Bhaiyya and his wife as Bholi Punjaban – a crossover we never knew we needed!

In a hilarious Instagram sketch shared by the couple, as they captioned “Sunday done right,” we see a clash of characters from the Excel Universe. Both actors, known for their comic timing imagined a ‘Bholi X Guddu’ sketch, with Chadha reprising her iconic character from the Fukrey franchise and Ali’s much -loved character Guddu Bhaiya from Mirzapur. They seem to be having a great time in the reel, riffing off one another.
In the video, Bholi is seen gifting Guddu a plate of boiled eggs, a hat tip to his obsession with body building, and becoming Mr. Purvanchal, while Guddu is seen gesturing to a feeding bottle, hinting at impending fatherhood in a meta way. Either way, we would love to be a fly on the wall when these two are around!
About Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha
The actors, who met on the sets of Fukrey, tied the knot on October 6, 2022. However, the couple had revealed in an interview that the two have been legally married for two years but since they took the plunge in the middle of the pandemic, they decided to host a grand celebration after it ended. In February 2024, the couple shared an Instagram post announcing their pregnancy with ‘1+1 = 3’ post leaving fans excited.
