NEW DELHI: Training guns against his own party and it’s ally in the INDIA Bloc – the Aam Aadmi Party, Congress candidate from North West Lok Sabha constituency in Delhi on Monday alleged that his election campaign was sabotaged internally.
“BJP’s internal survey showed I would win. I was sabotaged internally by my own party,” Udit Raj said during an interaction with news agency ANI.

Udit Raj was pitted against BJP’s Yogender Chandoliya who secured 8,66,483 votes while Udit managed to get 5,75,634 votes in the recently-held general elections.
“In the end, AAP MLAs developed an understanding that once people vote for the Congress, they might not vote for AAP in the upcoming Delhi assembly lections … Internally, regularly for two months, a conspiracy was being hatched against me in North-West Delhi. Congress party workers ran an anti-Brahmin and anti-Jaat campaign on social media and said that I was an outsider, Udit Raj said.
“BJP did nothing wrong … There exist many Congress in Delhi. One that runs at the local level and one that runs at the National level … BJP did not oppose at any level but our own party workers played cards against me. The same people are rising through the ranks in the party. People responsible for the loss of the party are being promoted … BJP’s internal survey said I would win. I was sabotaged internally by my own party,” the leader lamented.
