A woman was died as a result of a single-vehicle accident Saturday in San Angelo, according to a police media release.
Around 4:34 p.m. Saturday, San Angelo police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Houston Harte in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, they located a white passenger car that had left the roadway and collided with a traffic sign.
San Angelo Police Department’s Motors Division, Crime Scene Division and Drone Division were requested on scene to assist with the investigation.
Police learned this was a single-vehicle accident, and a 26-year-old man who was a passenger was not injured.
The driver of the car was identified as Chelsea Gray, who was later pronounced dead at Shannon Medical Center, according to the media release.
