The pre-wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are in full swing, and Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is not holding back on the fun. Photos and videos from the festivities paint a picture of vibrant celebrations steeped in Indian tradition.

One key ceremony, the Haldi, saw guests welcomed with paan. Paan consists of a betel leaf, a mild stimulant, filled with a variety of sweet and savoury ingredients like jams, candied fruits, and nuts. A video captured Singh indulging in the flavorful treat, looking dapper in a yellow kurta and a stylish man bun. He was also smeared in haldi all over his clothes, face and hair. Photos and videos show Singh exiting the ceremony later at night, completely covered in the yellow paste. He even took a moment to appreciate the paan, reportedly saying “bahut badiya” (very good) before leaving.
He also kicked off the sangeet ceremony last weekend, a pre-wedding musical celebration, with a high-octane dance performance. He danced to Salman Khan’s hit song ‘Ishq Di Galli Vich’ from the movie No Entry.
The upcoming wedding ceremony promises to be a grand affair. Scheduled for July 12, it will be followed by two additional events: Shubh Aashirwad, a blessing ceremony, on July 13, and finally, Mangal Utsav, the grand wedding reception, on July 14.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be starring in Singham Again, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar and Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.
