Amid its lineup of shows like Anupama, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Udne Ki Aasha, among others that focus on family drama and romance, Star Plus has ventured into another new show titled Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua. Starring Aditi Tripathi as Deepika and Akshit Sukhija as Chirag, the show, set against the backdrop of Rajasthan, explores the journey of these two lovers who have to face hurdles from society and family.

Akshit Sukhija, who will be seen essaying the character of Dr. Chirag, opened up about the show and his chemistry with Aditi as he shared, “The show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua will depict the tale of two individuals, Deepika and Chirag, who hail from different backgrounds, but their opinions and aspects of how they view life are similar. It will be interesting how the love story of Deepika and Chirag unfolds in the show. The show will depict different flavours in terms of cast, screenplay, and emotions. My character Chirag is dedicated to his work. I am enjoying portraying the character of Chirag; it is an intriguing one.”
Meanwhile, Aditi Tripathi, who debuts on Star Plus with the show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, shared her excitement and said, “I am portraying the character of Deepika in the show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua; this is my debut with Star Plus, and I feel truly blessed and grateful to be a part of it. Deepika is someone who has faced hurdles and obstacles in her life, but at the same time, she also cares for those who have done injustice to her. If you are a kind-hearted person, God will grant your wishes and also help you pave your way through the struggles. Just like me, Deepika is a Shri Krishna Bakht, and getting an opportunity to portray Deepika is a blessing from Shri Krishna. Deepika believes in standing up for herself and keeping her viewpoint.”
About the show
The promo of the Star Plus show introduced audiences to Deepika, Akshit Sukhija, and Jhanvi played by Urvashi Pardeshi. It showcased the struggles and hardships Deepika faces in her house, where she is ill-treated by her stepmother and stepsister. It is during this time that Chirag encounters Deepika at a blood donation camp and is impressed by her generosity and kindness. It is later that Chirag’s family proposes marriage for Jhanvi (Deepika’s sister), and Chirag chooses Deepika over Jhanvi, which does not go well with both families. It will be interesting to witness how the story unfolds and what happens next in Deepika and Chirag’s lives. Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua is to air on Star Plus at 7 pm from July 15 onwards.
