Crash involving motorcycle, van turns fatal in West El Paso

Police say Peter Jaden Gonzalez, 22, who was traveling in a motorcycle, died at the scene of the crash which was located at the intersection of Redd Road and Dakota Ridge.

Just before 10 a.m., a 49-year-old man was traveling south on Redd Road in a van and approached the intersection of Redd Road and Dakota Ridge.

The man then entered the mandatory left turn lane to go east on Dakota Ridge and while turning left he was hit by Gonzalez who was traveling north on Redd Road.
