MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida woman was seen on body camera video trying to top off her gas tank during a DWI traffic stop.
Sergeant Moore with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office stopped the woman’s vehicle in the 14800 block of South Highway 441 for speeding and erratic driving, reaching speeds over 100 mph.

The driver, Christina Bermudez, eventually pulled into a gas station, where she attempted to fill up her gas tank, while completely oblivious to the traffic stop.
In the video, she claims to have not noticed the police lights behind her because “it’s so dark.”
Before exiting her vehicle, the Bermudez claimed to not have had anything to drink and said she was missing a shoe.
After stepping out of the car, she begins to open her fuel tank before the deputy stops her.

“Ma’am don’t undo that, you’re not getting gas right now,” the Sergeant said.
Bermudez then said that she had “maybe a beer.”
She was arrested and taken to jail, where she provided a breath sample of .191 and refused to sign the DUI citation.
