Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga has set his sights on a new project titled Spirit. This highly anticipated film will see him team up with the superstar Prabhas, known for his action hero roles in movies like Saaho and Baahubali. While Vanga’s previous films have explored themes of love and family drama, Spirit marks his foray into the action genre. A report by PinkVilla quoted a source revealing, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga has written a ‘Pakka Commercial Entertainer’ for Spirit. This cop action film will cater to a wide audience and will be packed with entertainment and emotional moments.”
The source further elaborated that Vanga is aiming to redefine the cop genre with Prabhas at the helm. “Prabhas’ fans have been eager to see him in a straightforward commercial film, and this is exactly what Vanga is crafting. He’s revelling in the process of creating a heroic character and building the film’s narrative,” the source added.
Prabhas’ Packed Schedule
With Spirit gearing up for production by the end of 2024, Prabhas has a busy schedule ahead. He juggles commitments for films like Salaar 2, Hanu Raghavapudi’s next project, and Kalki 2898 AD 2. He is currently seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
