His legendary status is celebrated every Sunday with fans gathering outside his Mumbai home and eagerly anticipating his movie releases. Recently, a heartwarming video has surfaced on the internet, showcasing an elderly man in Europe playing the guitar and singing ‘Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein’ from Bachchan’s 1976 classic Kabhi Kabhie. Despite singing in broken Hindi, the man’s heartfelt rendition is a testament to Bachchan’s enduring influence and the timeless charm of his iconic songs.

A fan page shared the video on X (formerly known as Twitter) with the text, “Amitabh Bachchan has fans all over the world…Europe is no exception.” Resharing the post, Big B wrote, “Amazing! Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein in Europe !!”

 

Yash Chopra directed Kabhi Kabhie, which starred Shashi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Rakhee Gulzar, Neetu Kapoor, and Simi Grewal. Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh sang the title tune, ‘Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein.’ The lyrics were written by well-known poet Sahir Ludhianvi.

Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying the success of his new film, Kalki 2898 AD. Nag Ashwin directed the mythical science-fiction drama. It also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. A few days back, Amitabh Bachchan posted an Instagram photo with his Kalki 2898 AD co-stars Kamal Haasan and Prabhas. In the caption, the megastar stated that Kalki 2898 AD was a “learning” experience for him. He wrote, “KALKI 2898 AD is not just a film for me, it is a learning, an education .. soon to be seen on a podcast .. when I interviewed the Director Nag Ashwin ..”

In Kalki 2898 AD, Amitabh Bachchan portrays Ashwathama, who wants to safeguard Sumati’s (Deepika Padukone) pregnant child. The film has guest appearances by Mrunal Thakur, SS Rajamouli, Vijay Deverakonda, Ram Gopal Varma, and Dulquer Salmaan.
