Heeramandi actor Jason Shah recently opened up about his past struggles with sex, alcohol, and women addictions in a candid podcast interview on the YouTube channel Shaardulogy. Reflecting on his journey, Jason acknowledged the challenging path to overcoming these addictions, emphasizing the significant role of divine grace in his recovery. He shared, “It was alcohol. I was smoking about two and a half packs a day. I can definitely say I was addicted to women. It was a sex addiction which was very difficult for me. I think it was one of the bigger ones to leave.”

When asked about how he managed to overcome his addictions, Jason credited his faith, stating, “God is so good, and his grace is so sufficient for me that his love just overrode everything. It’s not easy, it is tough because you have to say no.” He also challenged the popular notion of indulging in activities that feel good, highlighting the pitfalls of such advice: “There’s that funda that if it feels good, do it. But I have realized that that is probably the worst advice that you could give anybody. From my life, I would say, my worst decisions were made when it felt good. What I say now is, if it feels good, think about it.”

Jason also touched upon his rise to fame after his role in Jhansi Ki Rani, recounting moments when he was recognized and praised by fans, including policemen. Despite these accolades, he came to understand the fleeting nature of fame and wealth. He remarked, “I have been lucky in a lot of ways, but I went on to realize that fame, money don’t matter because they are there for a moment and then they are gone.”
