Current Science Association offers science writing fellowship for young scholars – MASHAHER


The Current Science Association has announced the opening of applications for its prestigious Science Writing Fellowship. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any science discipline and aged 35 years or younger are eligible to apply.

The fellowship offers selected candidates an opportunity to work full-time for one year at the editorial office of Current Science journal in Bengaluru. Interested applicants must submit their detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the Executive Secretary at CV Raman Avenue, Post Box No. 8001, Sadashivnagar P.O., Bengaluru 560080 by July 31.

Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000. They will be expected to contribute regularly to the news, research news, and general sections of the journal, and assist the editorial team in publication activities. Candidates with postgraduate degrees in science, literature, journalism, or mass communication, possessing strong writing skills and a keen interest in various scientific disciplines, are encouraged to apply. Basic computer proficiency is desirable.

The fellowship stipend may be revised based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, with the possibility of extending the duration depending on performance evaluations.
